An Art Nouveau pocket watch stand in copper-finished white metal, its base formed as a small footed tray embossed with the Paris Opéra.
The watch hangs from a wire hook at the crest, in front of a hammer-textured, dished plate within a ribbed frame. Sprays of stylised roses flank a pierced panel of upright bars and a ring, long looped arms sweep down both sides, and the body curves forward into the tray, where the façade of the Palais Garnier is shown in relief, lettered L'Opéra above and Paris below. The reverse is stamped "Importé de Bavière": it was made in Bavaria for the French market.
Finish
Good. The copper finish is worn through to the grey base metal in small spots on the side scrolls, crest and tray rim.

Very good. No breaks or repairs visible.

Very good. Wire watch hook present at the crest.
