A German pocket watch stand of about 1931, its tilted oval plate cast in relief with a herdsman and his animals beneath a tree.
The plate sits at an angle on a hammered stem and a domed round foot with a hatched scallop border. A beaded rim frames the scene, and a teardrop crest at the top carries a wire hook for the watch bow. A herdsman in a broad-brimmed hat sits beneath a tree by a rail fence, a cow stands in profile and other animals lie in the grass, with a farmstead on the horizon. The stand is marked D.R.G.M. 1 152 792, a German registration of 1931.

Very good. Relief crisp; scattered dark tarnish spots across the scene.
