One of one, exactly the piece shown
A small hinged 'book-style' watch case in brown leather with a brass clasp, opening to a velvet-lined well for the watch.
A small hinged pocket watch case covered in brown leather, with a brass clasp and hinge. The book rests at an angle on a stepped plinth. Its front cover, cut with a round window, opens on a spine hinge to a single velvet-lined well notched at the top for the pendant, so the dial shows through the window when the cover is closed. The brass hasp is engraved with a Napoleonic bee. Made to stand on a bedside table for overnight watch storage.

Good. Scuffs and small lifts along the edges and corners, a small chip at one top corner of the cover and dark stains on its inside face
Window
Fair. Open, with no glass; the leather turn-in is torn and lifted around the edge
Clasp and hinge
Good. Brass hasp, stud and spine hinge, functional
Lining
Good. Intact; the pad is faded with darker red staining and there are loose threads at the pendant notch
