One of one, exactly the piece shown

49.4mm rolled gold full hunter, signed dial, 17-jewel Swiss lever movement running well.

This is a full hunter pocket watch signed Antoine & Fils on the dial, in a rolled gold case (Plaqué Or, stamped 10 microns) over a base metal core. The case is a substantial 49.4mm, noticeably larger than the standard ~45mm hunter case, with the "PLAQUÉ OR 10" mark and a small maker's roundel stamped on both the hinge and the case back exterior. The case back interior carries a case serial number, 7079.

The movement is a 17-jewel Swiss lever, unsigned on the bridges, marked "SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS," "UNADJUSTED," and "SWISS." A number that reads as 498 is stamped near the balance, partially obscured - likely a caliber or batch reference, unconfirmed against any parts database. The movement winds and sets correctly with no slipping or grinding, and runs consistently.

Dial is white enamel, signed "Antoine & Fils" in script above a sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock, with Arabic numerals and "SWISS" printed at the base. No chips, hairlines, or restoration - the enamel is clean throughout.

The hunter cover snaps open and closed cleanly on its spring. Case back and dust cover both open without issue.

Case condition is honest for its age: light scratching on the hinge and case back, with some thinning of the plating in high-contact areas. No dents, no cracks.

Dating is estimated at c.1930s-1950s, based on the case-marking convention and the English-language jewel count alongside French case terminology - typical of pieces cased for English-speaking export markets. No formal manufacturer record exists for "Antoine & Fils," which reads as a retailer or dial signature rather than a movement maker.

Sourced as part of a private collection acquisition.
