A carved fruitwood pocket watch holder in pale wood, with an edelweiss flower above a fluted bracket and circular aperture.
A wall-mounted pocket watch holder in pale carved fruitwood. The face is carved with an alpine flower, most likely an edelweiss, above a fluted bracket with a circular aperture for the watch. A hinged back-plate allows it to be fixed to a wall or bedpost. The carving and subject are typical of Black Forest work.
The pocket watch shown in the photographs is for scale and is not included.

Carved fruitwood. Carving: Well defined, intact. Back-plate: Hinged, functional. Overall: Very good antique condition; light wear consistent with age.
