A visually striking Continental fob chain with a figural horse head hook terminal, multi-strand foxtail chains, and a gilt heart-shaped central slider with scroll decoration.
The horse is finely modelled with a flowing mane, granulated body, and a hook rising from the top of the head. Multiple foxtail strands run from the horse through a gilt heart-shaped central slider with a beaded border and scroll surrounds, then through a curb link section to a dog clip. The chain weighs 30.6 grams and measures 28cm to the hook. A small unidentified mark appears on one link. An unusual and eye-catching chain with genuine sculptural quality in the horse head.
