VETO is a registered trademark of Liengme & Co. S.A. of Cormoret, Canton of Bern - a Swiss movement manufacturer established in 1888 and operating until 1974, producing their own movements, cases, and even a proprietary shock protection device. The Haute Precision designation confirms regulation to a higher accuracy standard than standard Swiss lever production. It winds smoothly, runs well, and the action is exactly as it should be.
The 800 silver case has a distinctive two-tone finish: rose gold accent rings frame both the bezel and caseback join, giving it a warmth that straight silver cannot match. The guilloche engine-turned caseback centres on a blank heraldic cartouche. Light honest age wear, no dents.
