Open Curb Single Albert with Colliery Cricket Cup Fob, Edwardian

A single Albert watch chain in open curb links with a swivel dog clip, T-bar and an attached silver and blue enamel sporting fob. The fob reads "Haunchwood Colliery Cricket Cup" in white lettering on a blue enamel band, surrounding a blank shield cartouche with applied leaf and berry decoration on the outer border. The reverse is stamped "Fattorini and Sons, Bradford House, Birmingham" with full Birmingham hallmarks including lion passant, anchor and date letter D for 1903, maker's mark F and S. The T-bar carries its own Birmingham hallmarks: lion passant and date letter L for 1910, maker's mark HP. The chain weighs 48 grams and measures 35cm end to end. The blue enamel is intact. Haunchwood Colliery was a coal mine near Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
