A single Albert watch chain in brass with graduated curb links, the links widening from the dog clip toward the bolt ring. The chain measures 24cm end to end and weighs 29.7 grams. Fitted with a dog clip at one end and a spring ring (bolt ring) at the other. An attached round fob hangs from the chain, with a rope-twist wire border on both sides and a 'GD' mark inside a heart on the reverse. One link shows a possible repair. Both clasps are functional but stiff. A compact Albert with period fob, suited to a waistcoat pocket.
