A dark-stained carved fruitwood pocket watch holder, with a floral-carved face above a bracket and circular watch aperture.
A wall-mounted pocket watch holder in dark-stained carved fruitwood, made in the Black Forest tradition. The face is carved with floral decoration above a ribbed bracket with a circular aperture that holds the watch. The dark stain and deep carving are characteristic of Black Forest work of the late nineteenth century.
The pocket watch shown in the photographs is for scale and is not included.
