A heavy Dutch silver watch chatelaine assayed at Schoonhoven, six belcher strands between three panels, with a pierced watch key and seal, 163.3 grams.
Six strands of belcher chain run between three rectangular panels with engraved zigzag borders. The panel at the hook end is plain, the centre panel carries a pierced medallion in relief riveted to the plate, and the panel at the other end a floral spray in relief. A ring below it holds a pierced watch key and a seal, both with lobed borders. The back of the centre panel is pricked with the initials K K M and the date 1911. Hallmarked on the panels, the hook loop and the key. 163.3 grams, 20cm long.
