A small carved fruitwood souvenir holder, inscribed 'Eaux Chaudes' - a thermal spa town in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department of France, near Laruns at the foot of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau. Dates to around 1900, the peak of the French spa tourism era.

Carved fruitwood. Carving and inscription: Intact and legible. Bracket: Hinged, functional. Overall: Very good antique condition; wear consistent with age.
