A substantial single Albert watch chain in graduated curb links, tapering from fine links at the dog clip to chunky links at the spring ring. The chain weighs 50 grams and measures 21cm end to end. Hallmarks are stamped into both clasps but are too worn to read clearly. The metal is consistent with silver in weight, colour and patina. Fitted with a swivel dog clip at one end and a spring ring at the other. No T-bar. The spring ring is stiff and does not snap back under its own tension. A heavy, handsome chain with a satisfying taper, offered as found.
